Prohibited & Restricted Items

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to every store hosted on LaunchLancer, on every plan, free or paid. It covers what you list, how you describe it, and what your store is used for. It forms part of our Terms of Service — breaking it is a breach of them.

LaunchLancer is software, not a marketplace. You are the seller, the contract of sale is between you and your customer, and you remain legally responsible for everything you offer. Nothing here transfers that responsibility to us — and nothing here is legal advice. If you are unsure whether you may sell something, take advice before you list it.

2. Never allowed

These may not be listed, described, advertised or sold on a store hosted here, whatever the wording used and whatever the intended buyer. Attempting to disguise one of them — a coded listing, a private link, a "sample" — is treated the same as selling it openly.

• Drugs and controlled substances. Narcotics, psychotropics and precursor chemicals, cannabis and its derivatives, and anything sold as a legal substitute for them. Prescription-only medicines sold without a licence belong here too.
• Weapons, ammunition and explosives. Firearms and parts, ammunition, air guns sold as weapons, knuckledusters and similar, explosives, fireworks, and instructions for making any of them.
• Sexual and adult content. Pornography of any kind, adult services, and sexual products. Content sexualising a child is reported to the authorities immediately and without notice.
• Gambling and betting. Casino games, sports betting, lotteries, raffles, prize draws requiring payment to enter, and loot-box mechanics sold as products.
• Alcohol. Alcoholic drinks, and kits or ingredients sold for producing them.
• Tobacco, nicotine and vaping products. Cigarettes, loose tobacco, shisha, e-cigarettes, vape devices, pods and nicotine liquids. Legal to sell in Pakistan under age limits, but not on a storefront that cannot verify a buyer's age at the door.
• Counterfeit, replica and stolen goods. Copies of branded products, "first copy" and "master copy" listings, goods you have no right to resell, and anything obtained unlawfully.
• Content that breaks Pakistani law. Blasphemous material, hate speech, content inciting violence or sectarian hatred, extremist or terrorist material, and content prohibited under Pakistan's electronic crimes legislation.
• Fraud and financial crime. Forged documents, identity documents, certificates and degrees, hacked accounts, stolen card or bank data, money-laundering services, pyramid and multi-level marketing schemes, and "guaranteed returns" offers.
• Cryptocurrency and unregulated financial products. Buying, selling or exchanging virtual currencies, mining contracts, tokens, and investment or lending products offered without State Bank of Pakistan or SECP authorisation.
• Human and animal exploitation. Human organs, tissue or remains, endangered species and products made from them, animals bred or sold for fighting, and live animals sold in conditions that cause suffering.
• Surveillance, hacking and privacy-invading goods. Hidden cameras and audio bugs sold for covert use, IMEI-changing tools, signal jammers, spyware, phishing kits, and lists of personal data.
• Hazardous and restricted substances. Industrial chemicals, poisons, radioactive material, asbestos, banned pesticides, and mercury-containing skin products.
• Recalled and unsafe goods. Anything subject to a safety recall, and goods that fail the safety standards that apply to their category.

This list is not exhaustive. Anything unlawful in Pakistan, or unlawful where your buyer is, is prohibited whether or not it is named above.

3. Allowed only if you are licensed and compliant

These are legitimate businesses, and plenty of them run here. They come with conditions set by someone other than us — a regulator, a standards body, or the brand you are reselling. Meeting those conditions is your responsibility, and we may ask you to evidence it.

• Medicines and pharmacy products. Requires the relevant DRAP registration or licence. No prescription-only medicine may be sold without one, and no medicine may be sold past its expiry.
• Supplements, herbal and wellness products. Must be enlisted where the law requires it, and must not claim to treat, prevent or cure a disease.
• Food and drink. Must meet the labelling, hygiene and expiry rules of the applicable provincial food authority and PSQCA standards.
• Cosmetics and skincare. No skin-lightening products containing mercury or banned steroids. Ingredients must be listed accurately.
• Medical devices. Only with the registrations that apply to the device class. No diagnostic claims you cannot support.
• Mobile phones and telecom equipment. Devices must be PTA-approved and legitimately imported. No tampered or cloned IMEIs.
• Gold, silver and jewellery. Purity, weight and stone claims must be accurate and verifiable.
• Knives, tools and equipment. Sold as tools for their intended use, never as weapons.
• Second-hand and refurbished goods. Must be clearly described as used or refurbished, with the actual condition stated.
• Digital goods, software and licence keys. You must hold the right to sell them. No shared, resold or region-locked keys you are not licensed to distribute.
• Tickets, gift cards and vouchers. Only where you are the issuer or an authorised seller.
• Pets and livestock. Subject to the animal-welfare and transport rules that apply, and never for fighting.

4. How you describe what you sell

A permitted product can still be sold in a way that breaks this policy. On a store hosted here:

• Descriptions, photos and prices must reflect what the buyer will actually receive. No stock photos passed off as your product, no price that changes at checkout, no "sale" from a price you never charged.
• No health or medical claims you cannot support, and never a claim to cure, prevent or treat a disease.
• No fake reviews, invented ratings, or testimonials from people who did not buy from you.
• Delivery times, charges and your return policy must be stated before the customer pays.
• You must not take payment for goods you do not intend to deliver, or cannot deliver.

5. Using your store to move money

Your store must sell what it appears to sell. You may not:

• process payments for goods or services other than those your store lists — putting one product on the page and charging for another is transaction laundering, and it is treated as fraud;
• collect payments on behalf of another business, or act as a payment front for someone whose own application was declined;
• use a storefront purely to raise or transfer funds with no genuine product behind it.

These rules come from the payment networks as well as from us, and a breach can cost you your own payment provider as well as your store.

6. How we find problems

We do not pre-screen listings. Stores go live without us reading them, which is what makes launching in minutes possible. We act on what we are told and what we find: reports from shoppers and the public, notices from a regulator, brand owner or payment provider, and our own checks.

To report a store, email support@launchlancer.com with the store's address and a link to the listing. Tell us what is wrong with it. We do not share a reporter's identity with the merchant.

7. What happens if you break this policy

Enforcement is graduated. Most breaches are a mistake and end at the first step.

• 1. We tell you, and you fix it — For most breaches the first step is a notice to the store owner naming the listing or content and what is wrong with it. You remove or correct it. Your catalogue is yours to edit; we do not reach into a store and delete a product ourselves.
• 2. We suspend the store — If it is not fixed, or the breach is serious, the store is suspended: the storefront stops serving to shoppers and the store admin stops opening. Your data is not deleted. A suspension is lifted as soon as the problem is resolved.
• 3. We close the account — For severe or repeated breaches the store is closed permanently and the account terminated. Related accounts opened by the same person may be closed with it.

Some breaches skip straight to closure, with no warning. Content sexualising a child, weapons, drugs, fraud, and anything creating immediate legal danger are acted on at once, and reported to the authorities where the law requires it or the harm warrants it. We keep records of what was published and cooperate with lawful requests.

One thing we cannot do: we do not hold your sales revenue, so we cannot freeze, reverse or return money your customers have paid you. Refunds to your buyers are yours to make, and disputes over a payment are between you, your customer and your payment provider.

8. If you think we got it wrong

Reply to the notice we sent, or contact us, within 30 days. Tell us what you think we misread and include anything that supports it — a licence, an authorisation letter, proof you are entitled to sell the brand. A person reviews it, and if we were wrong we restore the store and say so.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this list as the law changes and as we learn what turns up on the platform. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced to store owners by email before they take effect.
