Terms of Service

The agreement between you (the merchant) and Vividsol, the business behind LaunchLancer, when you create an account and run a store on the platform.

Vividsol is only willing to provide LaunchLancer to you on the condition that you accept all of the terms in this agreement. Please read it carefully — it affects your legal rights and remedies.

By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the platform.

Please pay particular attention to section 13 (Disclaimer), section 14 (Limitation of liability) and section 17 (Governing law). They limit what we are responsible for and set where disputes are decided.

1. Who we are, and what you're agreeing to

LaunchLancer is a product of Vividsol ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship owned by Sheikh Muhammad Fayyaz, registered in Pakistan at 19-B/II, Education Town, Wahdat Road, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. We provide a hosted ecommerce platform: you subscribe to a plan and get an online store on your own address (like your-store.ecom1.top or a domain you connect), together with the tools to run it. By creating an account you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Delivery, Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to open a merchant account.

2. Your account

You can sign up with an email address and password, or through Google or Facebook. You must give accurate details and keep them current — we use the email address on the account to reach you about billing, security and service changes, so an address you no longer read is your risk to carry. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done under your account — including by staff members you invite. Staff access is granted and revoked by you; choose roles carefully.

Some actions that reach beyond your own store — publishing your storefront, connecting a custom domain, inviting staff, and setting your store's outbound email sender — require a verified email address on the store owner's account first. Everything else works right away.

One account can own more than one store, within the limits of your plan. You may not share one account between separate businesses to avoid those limits.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

  • Trials. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. No card or payment is required to start, and you are never charged automatically when a trial ends.
  • When a trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Your store stays live, your admin stays open, and nothing is deleted. If you have more products or stores than the Free plan allows, the extras are hidden from your storefront and flagged in your dashboard until you upgrade or remove them.
  • Paying. Plan charges are billed by invoice in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), monthly or yearly. A plan upgrade takes effect once its invoice is paid. We charge no commission or transaction fee on your sales.
  • Renewals. We issue a renewal invoice ahead of each period's end and email it to the account owner. Renewal is never charged automatically to a card we hold.
  • If a renewal invoice goes unpaid. When the period ends with the invoice still open, the subscription is marked past due — nothing is locked, your storefront keeps serving and your admin keeps working. If it is still unpaid 7 days after that, the subscription is moved down to the Free plan and the unpaid invoice is voided, so you are never chased for a period you didn't get. Content over the Free plan's limits is hidden, never deleted, and reappears when you upgrade. We do not suspend accounts, withhold your orders, or lock you out of your own data over an unpaid invoice.
  • Limits. Each plan sets limits — stores, products, monthly orders, staff seats, and media storage. When you reach one, the platform tells you and asks you to upgrade or free up space; it never silently deletes your content.
  • Price changes. We may change plan pricing on at least 14 days' notice, given by email to the account owner or as an announcement in your dashboard. Changes apply from your next billing period — never retroactively, and never to a period you have already paid for. If you don't want to continue at the new price, cancel before that period begins.

4. Your store and your content

Everything you upload or create — products, images, pages, posts, branding — remains yours. You grant us the license needed to host, store, display, and transmit it so your store works. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you publish and for the accuracy of your listings.

We don't pre-screen what you publish. We may remove specific content, or close a store, where we reasonably believe it breaks §6 or the law — and where it's practical to do so we'll tell you what and why first, so you can fix it. This is a right we keep in order to run the platform responsibly, not a general licence to edit your store.

A published storefront is public: anything you put on it can be viewed, indexed by search engines, and saved by anyone who visits. Keep a store unpublished while you're still building it.

5. Selling to your customers

You are the seller. Every sale made on your store is a contract between you and your customer. We provide the software; we are not a party to your sales, and we don't hold your sales revenue.

LaunchLancer is not a marketplace. Your store is your own website, not a listing on ours: there is no shared catalogue, cart or checkout across stores, and shoppers do not browse other merchants' products alongside yours. We do not hold, aggregate or settle the money your customers pay you, and we take no commission on your sales. Where you accept online payments, you do so through your own merchant account and your own payment credentials, and those funds move directly between you and your buyer.

  • Payments your customers make — cash on delivery, bank transfer, or an online method you connect using your own merchant credentials — flow between you and your customer.
  • Delivery, product quality, customer refunds, returns, and disputes on your store are your responsibility. Publish your own store policies (the platform gives you pages for this).
  • You're responsible for any taxes, registrations, and licences that apply to your business.
  • Your customers' details are yours to hold as their data controller, and there are limits on what you may do with them — see the Privacy Policy. In short: use them to serve the customer, and don't add someone to a marketing list because they bought from you once.

6. Acceptable use

Our Prohibited & Restricted Items policy lists in full what may not be sold on a store hosted here, what needs a licence first, and what happens to a store that breaks those rules. It forms part of these Terms. In summary, you may not use the platform to:

  • sell anything illegal in Pakistan or in the buyer's location, counterfeit goods, or goods you have no right to sell;
  • mislead buyers, take payment for goods you don't intend to deliver, or otherwise defraud;
  • send spam, host malware or phishing content, infringe others' intellectual property, or probe or disrupt the platform and its other stores;
  • publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit;
  • copy, resell, sublicense, or resell access to the platform itself, or reverse engineer it, other than running your own stores on it as intended;
  • abuse, threaten, or harass our staff. Support is a two-way conversation between people; we will end one that stops being that.

We may suspend or close stores that break these rules. Where practical we'll warn you first; for fraud or legal risk we may act immediately. The enforcement ladder sets out each step.

7. Fair use of platform resources

Your plan's published limits — stores, products, monthly orders, staff seats and media storage — are the part of your allowance we count and show you in your dashboard. Alongside them, every account shares the platform's bandwidth, processing and email capacity, and those are provided on a fair-use basis.

  • If one account's usage starts to degrade the service for other stores — runaway traffic, automated scraping, bulk email, or using storage as a general file host rather than for your store — we'll contact you first and work out whether a larger plan or a change in usage is the answer. Cutting you off is a last resort, not a first response.
  • We may apply rate limits to protect the platform — on sign-ups, on some admin actions, and on outbound email. These are sized for normal use and you are unlikely to meet them by running a store.
  • We don't close accounts for being quiet. A store with no orders for months is still your store. We won't delete an inactive account or its data as a matter of housekeeping — if that ever has to change, you'll get notice and a chance to export first.

8. Domains

  • Domains you already own can be connected to your store on eligible plans. You manage that domain at your own registrar; we verify ownership and provision HTTPS.
  • Domains you buy through us are registered through our registrar account on your behalf, with WHOIS privacy enabled, and connected to your store automatically. Renewal is never automatic on your card — we invoice you ahead of the expiry date, and an unpaid renewal lapses the domain after its registry grace period. Registered domains are non-refundable because a registration cannot be undone at the registry. If you want a purchased domain transferred to your own registrar account, contact us.

9. Themes and platform materials

Every storefront theme we ship, along with the platform's own software, designs, and documentation, belongs to us. While you have an account you may use any theme available on your plan on your own stores, customize it, and add your own CSS where your plan allows — that's what it's there for.

You may not copy a theme's files off the platform, resell or redistribute one, or use one to build a store somewhere else. Your own content and customizations stay yours; the theme underneath them does not become yours.

Themes are part of the service, not a separate purchase: we may add, update, or retire one. A retired theme keeps working on stores already using it — we don't reach into a live store and change how it looks.

10. Platform attribution

Every storefront on the platform carries a small "Powered by LaunchLancer" notice in its footer, on all plans. Please don't remove or obscure it.

11. Availability and support

We work to keep the platform fast and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service — maintenance, upgrades, and events outside our control can cause downtime.

Support is available to every account, free plans included, by email at support@launchlancer.com and by phone at 0302 1007919. We reply within one business day. Some plans include a faster response target, which is shown on the pricing page and in your billing settings.

12. Cancelling and closing your account

  • You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan — your store and data stay put. See the Delivery, Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
  • To permanently delete a store or your whole account and its data, contact us — we'll confirm the request with the store owner before deleting, and deletion is irreversible. Export anything you want to keep first.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms (see §6). If we discontinue the platform itself, we'll give you reasonable notice to retrieve your data.

13. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that results obtained from it will be accurate or reliable, or that it will meet your revenue expectations.

We also make no warranty about goods or services sold on merchants' stores. Those are the merchant's, not ours — see §5.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost sales, lost goodwill, or lost data — arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Delivery, Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy, are the whole agreement between us, and replace any earlier version of them.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
  • Severability. If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still stands.
  • Transfer. You may not transfer your account or these Terms to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer them if our business is reorganised, sold, or merged — in which case we'll tell account owners, and the same commitments continue to apply.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and for material changes we'll notify account owners by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
